17-June 2019 | Singapore – Vena Energy, the largest independent renewable energy developer in the Asia-Pacific region, clinched the “Renewable Energy Deal of the Year – Solar and Wind” award at the annual The Asset Triple A Asia Infrastructure Awards 2019.

“This award reaffirms our project development capabilities, and commitment to developing renewable energy in Indonesia, as well as in the Asia-Pacific region”, said Mr. Sunil Gupta, Regional Head of Southeast Asia and South Asia. “We are honoured to receive this award and share this accolade with our partners and the local Indonesian community”.

The accolade is awarded to Vena Energy for the US$215-million renewable energy projects in Indonesia, specifically the Tolo wind farm in South Sulawesi, Lombok solar projects, and the Minut solar project in North Sulawesi. The Lombok and Minut projects generate 68,686 MWh of energy, capable of providing up to 51,000 Indonesian households with renewable energy and saves approximately 55,000-tonnes of CO2 annually.
