-As a member of the leadership team, participates in planning corporate growth and coordinating strategic plans with the development of information systems, policies, and procedures.
-Identifies opportunities, obstacles, challenges, and risks related to the technology involved in delivery of the company’s current and future products and services.
-Identifies and recommends technology initiatives and roadmaps to structure and streamline the development and deployment of all products and services.
-Evaluates and recommends appropriate technologies and skills to improve and facilitate the delivery of the company’s products and services.
-Authors program proposals and reviews proposals for both technical and programmatic excellence. Oversees sub-contractor performance on technology-related tasks. Provides advice on programmatic issues, including staffing and budget. Supports process improvement activities, risk management activities, and continuity of operations planning.
-Writes department annual budgets and administers funds according to budget approval.
-Evaluates new equipment, software and processes continuously, recommends changes as appropriate, and supervises the implementation. Ensures that rigorous quality assurance methods are in place.
-Identifies vendors, partners, and hardware and software resources.
-Proposes budgets for programs, projects, purchases and upgrades for equipment.
-A Bachelor’s Degree, preferred education MBA or Masters preferably in the content area of in business management or marketing.
-Experience in an entrepreneurial or start-up environment.
-Creates, maintains, and enforces written policies and procedures regarding all computer operations in the IMS department and throughout the company.
-Leads all activities and supervises staff of the Technology department. Works with users to define requirements, produce system specifications, coordinate programming, and determine priorities. Manages staff to determine training needs and coordinates training. Ensures optimal customer service by overseeing staff’s responsive technical assistance and support to users, specifically related to Acumen.
