Singapore, 25 May, 2017 – Equis Energy (Equis), Asia‐Pacific’s largest renewable energy Independent Power Producer (IPP), has named Tim Russell a Partner. Mr. Russell joined Equis in 2012 as a Director, is based in Jakarta, Indonesia, and serves as Equis’ Head of Indonesia and Thailand.
Prior to Equis, Mr. Russell was a Managing Director and Partner of Goldman Sachs JBWere in Sydney and was Co‐Head of its Principal Investment Area for Australia and New Zealand. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Mr. Russell established the Australian office for Intermediate Capital Group, a global private equity and mezzanine investor listed on the London Stock Exchange. Mr. Russell has worked in the investment management, investment banking and chartered accounting industries for the last 24 years.
Mr. Russell holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) and is a Chartered Accountant.
